RBI Spring Event May 12th

Treasures in the Attic:

Philanthropy on the Patio

outdoor furniture
Wondering what to do with that great piece of art inherited from Grandma? Has your style changed from traditional to transitional and now your fabulous art no longer fits in? Now is your chance to clear out your attic, basement, and guest room or storage unit - all for a cause YOU have a passion for.
Join Robin Bond Interiors and Exteriors Showroom as we partner with Gone for Good to take your treasures that you no longer have a use for to benefit charity. Gone for Good accepts gently used art, home accessories and small furnishings. They then evaluate the worth, sell the item and donate the proceeds (less a small handling fee) to the charity of YOUR CHOICE. Better yet, when the check is sent with a letter to the charity of YOUR CHOICE, it will be sent in your name.
Your items will be enthusiastically marketed for a reasonable period. Those not sold will be donated to either Goodwill Industries or the Settlement Home. Whether turned into dollars or donated to another organization, all donations are "gone to DO good". So look around your house, bring a treasure and join us as we network with others in the community and do some good.
This event will be held at the beautiful Exteriors Showroom, which is an outdoor furniture showroom to The Trade. May is a perfect time to hear about what is new with exterior furnishings and learn a thing or two. Karla Urbina with Exteriors Showroom will speak.
Let's see how many different charities we can benefit through this event. After the event we will release a list of all of the different charities you selected to benefit. Please come with a generous spirit and donate more than one item if you have it.
Wine and appetizers will be provided. Door prizes and drawings throughout the evening including a chance to win 2 hours of professional organization assistance by Paula Dreyer with Organizing A to Z.

Take the Gone For Good challenge. Identify those treasures in your home (small furnishings, art, jewelry, crafts) that you no longer love. Donate them to Gone For Good and take a tax deduction. Gone For Good will sell them and donate the proceeds to the charity of your choice.
Gail Miller ad Retta Van Auken founded Gone For Good because of their desire to encourage and facilitate philanthropy. They, along with the Gone For Good volunteers, represent more than 100 years of combined service to non-profit communities in Central Texas.
